This will be three hour class focused on the basics of pasta making. This class will be a hands on demonstration which will (hopefully) provide you with the necessary fundamentals to craft filled pasta and classic tagliatelle at home. We’ll be hand mixing one versatile egg dough that we’ll use to shape tortellini, a classic tagliatelle, and a simple ricotta ravioli. This class would be perfect for a date night, as we’ll enjoy our pasta and have wine or drinks available throughout the class.
In total we’ll do the following
Hand Mixing pasta dough
Creating Fillings
Shaping
Sauce basics, boiling, and building flavor in the pan
We will eat the pasta we make, and you will also be able to take home any additional pasta we have left to enjoy as leftovers. You will also be able to go home with some flour to craft your own dough at home.
